Well Read Press is an independently owned small press that evolved in 2013. The mission of Well Read Press is to assist the beginning writer in publishing their works. The staff of two is currently working with writers in Central Illinois by promoting and encouraging non published writers to continue to strive towards acquiring the title “Author”. To assist in this endeavor, Well Read Press sponsored an anthology entitled A Dark and Stormy Night. Seventeen writers succeeded in meeting the challenge and have their stories in the book. Three participants have published a book while the book was in production. Eight of the writers had never published until the release of the anthology.
